Returns and Refunds Policy

At The Grief Gift Co., we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we are happy to assist you with a return or exchange under the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility of Returns
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it.
- Items that are marked as final sale or clearance are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for returns:
- Gift cards
- Items that have been installed, used, or altered
- Personalized or custom items
- Any products that are damaged due to misuse, neglect, or improper handling
3. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
1. Contact us to request a return authorization.
2. Provide your order number and reason for the return.
3. Once we approve the return, you will receive instructions on how to send the item back to us.
4. Securely package the product in its original packaging and include a copy of your order receipt.
4. Return Shipping
- You are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over $100 to ensure that your return is safely received. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
- In the case of defective or incorrect items, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
5. Refunds and Exchanges
- Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method.
- Refunds may take up to 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your payment provider.
- If you prefer an exchange, we will process the exchange once the returned item is received. The exchange will be for the same item or an item of equal value, based on availability.
- If the returned item is found to be damaged or not in resellable condition, we reserve the right to refuse the return or apply a restocking fee.
6. Damaged and Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at thehappygriever@gmail.com with photos of the damage or issue. We will provide instructions for returning the item at our expense and offer a full refund or replacement.
7. Cancelling an Order
If you wish to cancel your order before it ships, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has already shipped, please follow our return process once you receive the item.
